Huawei Quad-Core 10″ MediaPad Officially Released

Huawei has released their own tablet, MediaPad 10 FHD today, featuring 10 inch 16:10 1920×1200 IPS display. This is the highest resolution screen used by any Android tablet, only inferior to Apple’s 2048×1536  retina display. MediaPad 10 FHD uses Huawei’s own 1.4 GHz quad-core K3V2 CPU, which has 16-core GPU. Other features include Android 4.0, 800 MP camera, 3G/4G/LTE. The weight is 580g and the thickness is 8.8 mm.

 

The price ranges from US$350 3G version to US$460 for the 4G version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Specification Revealed

A Korean post has revealed the specification of the to be announced Samsung Galaxy Note 2 today.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will feature 5.5 inch 1280×720 AMOLED screen, 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 Quad-Core CPU, 800 MP camera, 16/32 Gb internal storage and support 4G LTE.

XiaoMi Released Upgraded XiaoMi Phone 1s Prior to the Release of XiaoMi Phone 2

Before the proposed release of the XiaoMi Phone 2 in October, XiaoMi has released an upgraded XiaoMi Phone 1s.

The phone comes with Qualcomm MSM8260 Dual Core 1.7GHz CPU, 4 inch IPS TFT,  1 Gb RAM, 4Gb ROM and 8 MP camera (F/2.2 & 28mm wide angle).

For all these features, the phone is just priced at  around US$230.

The XiaoMi Phone 1s will be available for order on Aug 23 and there are 200,000 units for the first batch.

Both cameras seemingly feature WIFI capability.

Rumor: Sony to Release Full Frame NEX Camera – NEX FF

According to Sony Alpha Rumor, Sony is planning to release a Full Frame NEX camera – NEX FF in the near future.

XiaoMi Phone 2 – Cheapest Quad Core Phone with Jelly Bean and 4.3″ 720p IPS

XiaoMi has announced the latest version of their phone. It comes with a price tag of about US$300 and the specifications are impressive: 4.3-inch 720p IPS display by Sharp, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core chip, 2GB RAM and 16GB memory. Nikon 1 J2 Announced

Less than a year after Nikon announced their first mirror-less camera, Nikon 1 J1, Nikon has just announced its successor, Nikon 1 J2.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The new features include:

– 921,000 pixels LCD

– Metal body

– New  Creative mode in the mode dial

– More color choices

 

The Nikon 1 J2 goes on sale from September 2012, priced at US$550 in a kit with 10-30mm lens. Body colors include White, Black, Silver, Pink, Red, and Orange.
